The magical world of childrens books is a wonderful place to reside. There is a peaseful, playfulness about it that I love. Creating a story is much like creating a painting, each one is a unique experssion of insperation all its own. Some of my illustrations live happily in their childrens book forever. They contently coexist with the words on their page, together telling a story. However, some illustrations have called out to me and insisted on being turned into a canvas painting aswell. Often it is hard for me to tell if a painting inspired a story, or if a story idea inspired a painting.
