Every Piece Has a Story

     Hello! My name is Stefanie and I am the owner and artist behind Art to Appreciate! 

 I am a freelance eclectic artist based in Southern New Jersey.   Art is my passion and I have been capturing moments on canvas for over 25 years.  I have shown my work in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and my work is in private collections across the country!  

I love traveling to new places and finding inspiration in each city and town.  Much of my art is inspired by everyday family moments and memories. Every piece has a story!!

When I am not working in my studio, I also love yoga, swimming, working in my garden and cooking!  My absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with my family!

In addition to my love for painting, animals hold a special place in my heart. To give my art a deeper purpose, I founded the Chance Project—named in honor of my soul dog, Chance!  A percentage of all pet portrait commissions, along with a rotating selection of my paintings and prints, go directly to my local shelter, helping animals in need. By combining my two passions, I strive to create art that not only captures emotion and tells a story but also makes a meaningful impact.  See the Chance Project for more details!
