Message from the Artist: 
I love spring days when the air is hazy, and everything feels still, and a little bit sleepy.  While walking one early afternoon I noticed a field full of wildflowers.  They were still, not yet rustling in the wind, just waking up and soaking in the sun.  The lavender tones in the sky that afternoon made me feel like I was walking through a painting!  This piece was inspired by that walk! 
I hope it brings you stillness and gratitude.
