Angel at Rest, Framed Art Print 

Message from the Artist~
The embrace of rest is universal. It’s a reminder that vulnerability and strength do coexist. This piece is part of a small collection that I created called, Guardians. The collection was inspired by a commissioned piece. Once I began sketching, I found that I was seeing Angels everywhere! In this particular painting I wanted to give the angel a sense of peaceful vulnerability. A powerful, celestial being looking human as she embraces what we all need at times, a mindful moment of rest.
 
Chance taught me so many things including the beauty of slowing down and embracing stillness.  He was the perfect model for appreciating life's simple pleasures- a restful moment in the sun, the gentle breeze kissing your skin and most of all just being together with the ones you love most. 
I hope that this piece brings you peace and joy!

About this piece: 
This print measures 5" by 7" (matted to 8" by 10". 
 
 It is framed in an easel back frame giving you the option to hang on the wall or display on a table.

The Chance Project:
This piece is part of the "Chance Project", a fundraiser started to raise money and awareness for local animal shelters.  I am so grateful for all that Chance gave me, and it was my pleasure and joy to provide him with good food, shelter, medical attention when needed and all of the walks, love and cuddles his little puppy heart could want. It breaks my heart to know that there are dogs out there not getting all of those things.    My mom and I started researching local animal shelters to see how we could help. We were happy to volunteer our time and donate but I wanted something more. Something that tied back to Chance since he is the reason our hearts are so full.  So, 
I have selected several paintings and prints to be part of this series.  100% of the profits earned from these pieces will be donated to my local animal shelter helping to provide food, blankets, medical treatment etc. for animals in need.  Chance would love that we were helping spread a little kindness.  It was what he did best :)
