Message from the Artist~
The embrace of rest is universal. It’s a reminder that vulnerability and strength do coexist. This piece is part of a small collection that I created called, Guardians. The collection was inspired by a commissioned piece. Once I began sketching, I found that I was seeing Angels everywhere! In this particular painting I wanted to give the angel a sense of peaceful vulnerability. A powerful, celestial being looking human as she embraces what we all need at times, a mindful moment of rest. I hope that it brings just that your way!
